Biography

Shoshana Grossbard is a professor of economics at San Diego State University and a fellow at the IZA Institute in Bonn, Germany. She is founding editor of the Review of Economics of the Household and on the board of the Society for the Advancement of Behavioral Economics. Her publications include 7 books and over 70 journal articles and book chapters. Her book Marriage and the Economy was published by Cambridge University Press in 2003; The Marriage Motive by Springer in 2015 and The Economics of Marriage, an edited volume, by Edward Elgar in 2016. She teaches on the economics of households, work, marriage and family and tweets @econoflove.
